Embracing Community Spirit at the 2025 Bridge to Brisbane

On Sunday, 14th September 2025, ICM Construction proudly participated in the iconic Bridge to Brisbane event, an annual fun run event that raises money for various charities across Southeast Queensland. This year, ICM raised funds for Hear and Say, a charity dedicated to providing audiology, speech pathology, and therapeutic services for children and young adults with hearing loss. The event highlights the critical role that various charities play in the Queensland community, improving the quality of life for children and families facing these challenges.

We had two teams representing ICM this year, one taking on the 10km course and the other completing the 5km route. It was a wonderful opportunity for our team to step outside the usual work environment, support one another, and be part of an event that brings the community together.

Gene Stewart, Director of ICM Construction, expressed his pride in the company’s involvement, stating, “It was great to have so many people participating in the Bridge to Brisbane this year, whether you were running or walking, it’s all about participation and thinking about our cause. ICM was proud to raise over $800 for our selected charity, a cause that is special to our ICM staff.” His thoughts reflect the collective team spirit found within the ICM team as we work together to raise more funds for our chosen charities.

The Bridge to Brisbane is more than just a race, it is an annual event that brings together individuals, families, and businesses from across Queensland to collectively promote health and wellness while contributing to important charitable causes. The day was a tremendous success with great weather, determination, and laughter. All while having the unique opportunity to race across the Gateway Bridge, with a variety of musical performances accompanying us along the way.

As ICM continues to expand, we remain committed to giving back to the community that supports our growth. The participation in this year’s Bridge to Brisbane and our earlier fun run, the Run Army, serves as a reminder of ICM’s social responsibility.

Well done to all our staff who participated, along with the volunteers and contributors whose efforts made this event a success. Together, we successfully raised funds for a common cause and bolstered team spirit within the community. The ICM Team looks forward to participating in the 2026 Bridge to Brisbane event.
