ICM Construction was engaged to deliver the new Community Health Precinct at Dakabin State High School. This new facility is designed to provide a range of integrated social, educational, and health services to the local community.
The project is being led by Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Services, in collaboration with Dakabin State High School and the Department of Education. The scope also included the construction of a commercial training kitchen and extensive external hard landscaping, all delivered within a fully operational, “live” school environment.
Notably, the design process involved active participation from Dakabin State High School students, ensuring the facility reflected their input and needs. The new facility will be completed by the beginning of May 2025.
