Australia Post Roma

Project Overview

The Roma Post Office is a significant rural hub surrounded by 93 bottle trees which were planted in the 1920’s in honour of the soldiers who lost their lives in WW1. The most prominent tree, ‘The Tree of Knowledge’ is located within a short proximity of the facility entry. Due to the significant cultural heritage of this building and its surroundings, this internal fit-out project was undertaken as an effort to upgrade the facility to better service the growing community of Roma and its surroundings. This post office serves as a rural hub for a large community that covers hundreds of kilometres of farmland, rural townships and unique outback terrain.
